Bloom is a rectangular wrap featuring multiple versions of the spool stitch with linen stitch borders and i-cord edges. The spool flowers progress from closed buds to fully opened flowers as the shawl grows by working variations of the stitch. Assigned Pooling occurs when a change in stitch and texture is assigned to changes in color within a skein of variegated yarn. Stockinette Stitch is assigned to the main color to create a backdrop for the spool stitch assigned to the accent color.

Yarn​​ 3 skeins of Pat a Pan on Barker Wool BFL fingering or approx. 1,300 yards of fingering weight yarn designed for use with Assigned Pooling.
