Fizz is a simple Assigned Pooling loop knit in the round from the bottom up. Assigned Pooling occurs when a change in stitch and texture is assigned to changes in color within a skein of variegated yarn. In this case, linen stitch is assigned to the background color to create a backdrop for the tiny bobble stitch assigned to the accent color.
Imagine tiny effervescent bubbles sparkling up to the surface in a glass of bubbly.
Yarn Two skeins of fingering weight yarn designed for use with Assigned Pooling.
The original shown here is made with Tosh Merino Light Seated Ballerina, a special colorway designed by Madelinetosh as part of our MT X BW collaboration.
