Swell is a simple asymmetric bias triangle shawl that uses the innovative concept of assigned pooling. Assigned pooling occurs when a change in texture is isolated within changes in color in a specially dyed skein of variegated yarn. In this case, stockinette stitch is assigned to the main color to create a smooth backdrop for the linen stitch assigned to the accent color.
Yarn 2 skeins of Barker Wool BFL Fingering in any assigned pooling colorway.
